In line with new data protection laws GDPR, we are obliged to inform you about our privacy procedures which includes:

  • How we use your personal information to provide you treatment.
  • What choices you have over how we use your data.
  • Who to contact if you have any concerns.

Personal information that we collect and how we use it

We collect personal information and medical details to provide medical treatment and provide communication related to your treatment episode and administrative purposes.
We may share your personal information/ clinical data with others for below reasons:

  • To send you for diagnostic tests when necessary
  • To refer you to other relevant member/s of the multi-disciplinary team or healthcare professionals i.e. consultants, counsellors, therapists and etc.
  • For administrative purposes including third parties who provide medical insurance, clinical typing and medical billing purposes. They are General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant so rest assured that your records are secured.
  • To disclose to regulatory and law enforcement bodies, e.g. if we are required to do so to comply with a relevant legal or regulatory obligation. However, we would inform you when necessary.

Your information will not be used for marketing or advertising purposes.
How long we will keep your personal information


We maintain a retention policy to ensure we only keep personal information for as long as we reasonably need it for the purposes explained. We may also need to keep information after our relationship with you has ended, for example to ensure we have an accurate record in the event of any future medical issues, or where we are required to do so for legal, regulatory or our tax purposes. We are advised to keep your records up to 20 years from being inactive.
Your rights

You have rights in relation to your personal information, including the right to request access to your personal information, correct any mistakes on our records, erase or restrict records where they are no longer required, object to use of personal information if it is based on legitimate business/medical interest.
